National Voter Registration Form Attached is the National Voter Registration application form in case you know of anyone in any state who needs to register and hasn't had a chance to do so. Again, this form can be used in every state in the country. The registration form that is attached can also be seen online on the U.S. Election Assistance Commision's web site at: http://www.eac.gov/voter/Register to Vote
Also, in many states, you can do "Early" or "Advanced" voting the week prior to the election (Monday thru Friday, October 27th-31st) if you'd like to avoid the long lines while also creating more space for those who will be voting on election day (Tuesday, November 4, 2008).
Early voting states are: Alaska, Arizona , Arkansas , California , Colorado , Florida , Georgia , Hawaii , Indiana, Iowa , Kansas , Maine , Nebraska , Nevada, New Mexico , North Carolina , North Dakota-in some counties, Oklahoma, Tennessee , Texas , Utah , Vermont , and West Virginia. Check out the provided link to your state's official election web site for more information on advanced voting, absentee voting, poll locations, identification requirements, etc. You can also download a particular state's voter registration form (but remember, in any state you can simply use the National Voter Registration Form that is attached). National Voter Registration Drive Alpha Kappa Alpha will launch a "voter registration blitz" from September 6 through October 4, spearheaded by the Sorority's Connection Committee. To ensure the campaign's success, AKA will partner with churches, the NAACP, other Greek organizations and other social action groups. The second component of the crusade is the "Take Five" program. In this initiative, members are being urged to "Take Five" registered voters to the polls. With members Energized, Stimulated and Passionately committed to these programs, voter turnout should be high and everyone should be empowered knowing that their votes will count.
